First Ladies & Fashion 4 Development Luncheon Recap

The event, which coincided with the Sixty-Eighth Session of the UN General Assembly, united first ladies, diplomats, fashion industry leaders and key influencers from around the globe. F4D’s First Ladies Luncheon recognizes and celebrates the unprecedented cooperation between diplomacy and fashion. The afternoon included a runway show and exhibition of sustainable, high fashion produced by designers from atypical countries – Bangladesh, Kuwait, Malaysia. With the support of both F4D and the Luncheon’s attendees, beautiful couture creations from developing nations – like the aforementioned - successfully compete in today’s global marketplace.

EYES IN's Vivian Van Dijk was invited to the event, but had prior commitments; she very much looks forward to her interview with Evie Evangelou - be sure to look for that coming soon.
