The Garden as Art with Edmund Hollander

Celebrate The Garden as Art weekend with an illustrated lecture by award-winning landscape architect, Edmund Hollander.

The event takes place Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

Hollander will also be signing copies of his latest book, The Private Oasis. What a perfect way to blend the love of literature and landscape architecture.

The Garden as Art Weekend kicks off on Friday, August 24 with a cocktail reception hosted by Lucy & Steve Cookson at their Devon Colony estate Windy Dune. On Saturday, August 25, participants gather at Guild Hall for a continental breakfast, followed by an illustrated lecture by award winning landscape architect Edmund Hollander, who will also sign copies of his newly released book, The Private Oasis. 

Garden lovers will tour five private gardens. On the tour are the spectacular gardens of: Jody & Larry Carlson and Jenny & Trey Laird, both in Bridgehampton; Michael MacElhenny & David Wine in East Hampton Village; Lisa & Richard Perry in North Haven; and Lenore & Adam Sender in Sag Harbor.
