BDNY 2011 Latest Looks in Hospitality Design

BDNY welcomes an exciting lineup of speakers for its 2011 Educational Forum (November 13-14, 2011) four free seminars presented during the show in the BDNY Theatre on the exhibit floor. On Sunday, November 13, Boutique Design editor Matthew Hall will moderate “Local Heroes: High-Profile Renovations with a Sense of Place,” a panel discussion featuring Dana Kalczak, VP of Design, Four Seasons; Sue Firestone, Founder and Chairman, SFA Design; Ave Bradley, VP of Design, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants; and Todd-Avery Lenahan, Founder, ABA Design Studio.

Also on Sunday, renowned designer and trend forecaster Stacy Garcia will present “Future Forecast,” a discussion of upcoming trends, colors and influences that will impact the hospitality industry. Garcia will also discuss the trends featured in the new BDNY Trend Walk, which she’s curating for the Show.

More sessions follow on Monday, including “How to Land Your Next Commission,” a panel discussion moderated by Hospitality Style editor Mary Scoviak, featuring Laurence Geller of Strategic Hotel Capital, Brendan McNamara of Dream Hotels, and Brad Wilson of Denihan Hospitality Group, and “Making the Most of Social Media: An On-the-Job Primer.”
