Win it! Winston Churchill Design Competition 2013
UK- London | Jan 7 2013 | (23:04:03 - EDT)
Winston Churchill is one of the Great Britons known across the world. But can you articulate why his life and example of leadership is relevant to people today? Explore the extraordinary story of Churchill’s life and his impact on the 20th Century and articulate your vision of his continuing relevance to the contemporary scene in a work of 2D form – from fine art and photography to illustration and graphic design. ARTS THREAD has partnered with The Churchill Center and Pentland Group plc as the platform for this new competition.
Short listed students will have their work exhibited and voted by an external panel of judges, patrons and members of the Churchill Center. A selection of the works will be exhibited for a period of time for the public to enjoy.
The top three winning entries will be announced at the prestigious annual Churchillian Award Dinner held in London in October 2013.
