Ankar Sweden SS13 Menswear at Fashion Week

Renown Design Director Niklas Ankar returns to deliver a vivid, prismatic color palette of willowy pinks, bright yellows, lush fushias and mint greens mixed with solid navy and bright white, for the Ankar Sweden SS 2013 Spring Menswear Collection at New York Fashion Week.

Reminiscent of 1950s and 1960s classic Hollywood resort life, the SS13 Collection unfolds with core pieces such as linen jackets, Pima cotton trousers, Irish shirt fabrics, classic Oxfords and the refreshing arrival of limited-­edition cotton/stretch swimwear.

The Collection reflects upon the aesthetic of Havana resorts, elegant artists in San Tropez, Vespa-­driving Italians on Capri and smiling pool boys in the West Indies; yet always within the classic modern-day Ankar fit, style and wear of the American boy on Martha’s Vineyard or at a beachfront party in the Hamptons of Long Island.
