CIRCA Accessories Salon Returns in Lincoln Center

USA- New York, NY | Feb 5 2012 | (01:05:42 - EDT)

CIRCA, the leading global buyer of fine jewelry, diamonds and watches from the public, proudly announces the much anticipated return of the CIRCA Accessories Salon in Lincoln Center throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

The Salon will once again provide a first look at the new collections from some of today’s most exciting Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) affiliated jewelry designers.

This season, the list of designers for the Fall 2012 season include celeb favorite Irene Neuwirth, the geometric genius Gemma Redux, California-based artisan Melissa Joy Manning, organic metal designer Dean Harris and CIRCA’s own brand, Sector Watches. The Salon will also feature a curated exhibit of iconic estate pieces from CIRCA’s recent purchases.

Chris Del Gatto, Chairman and CEO of CIRCA recognizes the symbiotic relationship between the fashion business and the jewelry industry. It is this understanding that inspired Del Gatto to launch the CIRCA Accessories Salon three seasons ago, and why he truly believes in this special partnership with the CFDA.

"CIRCA buys more fine jewelry than any other company in the world,” said Del Gatto. “Conversely, we sell to the top collectors. Our company has an unparalleled gauge on what is collectable and therefore, in demand. We have selected these designers because we feel their work shows the kind of merit that will make them collectable in the future.”

Last season’s designers included Kara Ross, Kimberly Mc Donald, Paul Morelli, Ruby Kobo and House of Waris. Each of them felt the CIRCA Salon presented a valuable opportunity.

“'We are extremely grateful to CIRCA for including us in their Salon. It allowed us to continue presenting the work to an international audience, but furthermore allowed us to partner with a company such as CIRCA, which believes wholly in sustainable luxury.” said Waris Ahluwalia.

"The CFDA's partnership with CIRCA provides a platform for jewelry designers that did not exist before Chris and team opened the CIRCA Accessories Salon,” said Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA. “Partnering with CIRCA gives credence to the important influence jewelry has on fashion and respects the creativity of our designers.

This year, the CIRCA Salon has a dramatic new look that will feature their new creative campaign.
