Germany- Berlin | Jul 7 2012 | (23:09:19 - EDT)
Eco fashion is the what's what right now during Berlin Fashion Week.
Eco fashion and sustainable design are two growth areas in Berlin that are gaining in international appeal. Not only are many Berlin based companies, platforms, networks and associations increasingly placing the focus of their work on sustainability, but more and more consumers are developing a preference for products manufactured in an ecological and socially responsible manner. Eco fashion does not only involve the use of renewable ecological materials, it also implies fair trade practices with respect to business partners. In the past two years, many new platforms and formats in the field of eco fashion have come into being in Berlin.
The Green Showroom held their events from July 4- 6 during Berlin Fashion Week 2012. It was a spectacular turn out.
