Stockholm Film Festival Summer Cinema
Sweden - Stockholm | Aug 17 2012 | (23:02:31 - EDT)
The Stockholm Film Festival is getting ready for a great summer of cinema. With the deadline for film entries at a close, it's time to celebrate some true cinematic masterpieces as part of the Summer Cinema in the Park series. Running now until August 19 is the amazing film Pan's Labyrinth. This twisted "fairy tale" takes a small girl on a journey through her imagination, lead by Pan, an unusual creature. The makeup effects in this film are incredible; a must see for those who haven't had the chance to see it since its release in 2006.
Member screenings will show some amazing films that did very well at their showings at the Cannes Film Festival 2012. This includes Lawless, a bootlegging drama staring Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy. The memeber's screening will take place on September 13, 2012 at Skandia. The official screening will be held the following day.
Ready for a must-see action thriller? Premiering September 28 is Rian Johnson's Looper. Enjoy Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as they battle illegal time travel on the black market. A futuristic mob movie that is sure to please! The screening will premier on September 28.
