Dr. Dougherty Asks: Is Lasik Right for You?

Dr. Paul Dougherty helped pioneer many of today’s most popular vision correction techniques and is Founder and Medical Director of Southern California-based Dougherty Laser Vision, considered a major center for clinical research involving the latest innovations in vision correction surgery.   Dr. Dougherty was among the first laser surgeons in the U.S. to perform LASIK on an investigational basis before it was approved by the FDA in 1995 and was one of the first ophthalmologists in the U.S. to have LASIK performed on his own eyes.
