Blue Label Labs is proud to announce the launch of IdeaToAppster.com, a free Web site to help people turn a great idea into an app. IdeaToAppster.com brings together tutorials, how-tos, and tips collected from experienced mobile app entrepreneurs designed to illuminate the path from idea to app. IdeaToAppster.com aims to share knowledge of mobile app development by presenting it in a manner easily understood by a non-technical audience.

"We work with a lot of people looking to launch a mobile app, and what I hear over and over again is that there isn't a trusted resource people can rely on to help them understand how to go from having an idea to having an app in the App Store. A lot of our clients are people who initially worked with off shored development teams and ended up spending thousands of dollars only to be left with an incomplete or poorly built product” said Bobby Gill, founder of Blue Label Labs and contributor to IdeaToAppster.com.

Gill continued, “I've seen others who ended up getting a great app built, but were rejected by the Apple review process because they failed to submit the proper documentation. We launched IdeaToAppster.com to help people understand what goes into building an app, and hopefully save them from many of the pitfalls that we and other people have faced when launching a mobile app."

When asked about the name of the site, Jordan Gurrieri, a mobile engineer at Blue Label Labs commented, "An Appster is someone who has launched their own mobile app. We actually didn't come up with the name. We were at a tech meet-up and a woman we met turned to us and said 'You guys build apps, you are a couple of Appsters!’ It has a nice ring to it, and it doesn't imply that you are a programmer, or a techie, and it's a whole lot easier to say then 'app entrepreneur’!

IdeaToAppster.com is live and already contains numerous articles dealing with a wide range of app development topics, from tips on passing the Apple App Store Review process to understanding the fundamentals of good app design.
