Japan is Cool, Okinawa Tourism is Hot
Okinawa, Japan | Sep 27 2012 | (23:06:46 - EDT)
“IS JAPAN COOL? OKINAWA” by ANA Group, Japan's largest Airline, showcases 20 attractions of Okinawa, a tropical resort island with a unique history and tradition. The website visitors can cast votes to rank their favorite attractions.
Popular spots that make Okinawa an incredible place to vacation are the pristine resort beaches, the historic and beautiful Shuri Castle, and a must stop for anyone experiencing Okinawa, the Churaumi Aquarium.
Visitors are attracted to the beauty of the eternally blue ocean around Okinawa nicknamed "Churaumi" in Ryukyu accent meaning "beautiful pure ocean". In Okinawa, time passes much slower than any other place in Japan and its population is much smaller than that of Hawaii. Then, the hidden resort areas in Okinawa feature both relaxation and marine leisure. ANA aims to attract more visitors to Japan from overseas by highlighting such a well-kept-secret place
Experience JAPAN Fare:
ANA offers travelers to any destination within Japan for only 10,500 yen! To be eligible for the campaign, visitors must live outside Japan, hold a passport issued by a country other than Japan or, in the case of Japanese passport holders, have permanent residency outside Japan, and must hold an international ticket to and from Japan (it doesn’t have to be with ANA).

The 2nd series predominantly features new attractions in Tokyo, where an exciting mixture of old and new Japanese cultures thrives, and in Okinawa, a picturesque resort in southern Japan. We hope you enjoy your visit to the “Is Japan Cool?” website and look forward to your vote.
The second “Cool Campaign” competition is now on the website, and the deadline is drawing closer!
