Essential Business Guide for Using Social Media

Companies need to plan how social media is going to support their mission, and plan how they’re going to engage their customers and prospects.”

Tejwani says companies need to take a broader approach to social media, and have a CLEAR philosophy in order to: connect with customers, listen and acknowledge their feedback, and engage them in conversation about the product or service so that customers will, in turn, advocate for their business. Thereafter, repeat the process.

In addition to giving readers a broad perspective of social media marketing, the book also provides a planning template, online references and statistical data to guide business owners toward a successful online campaign. The book also includes best practices and ethical standards in which to follow, and it previews what’s on the horizon in terms of must-have online tools.

Tejwani, 39, is the owner and chief storyteller of MobileCommz, LLC an online marketing company in San Antonio, which he founded in 2008. Tejwani is the executive responsible for sales, operations and product development. The business, which has three employees in San Antonio, and an offshore IT development team of 30 people in Delhi, India, operates under the brand name of Social Media Sapiens.

The company provides online marketing services, such as Website redesign, mobile Websites, iPhone, iPad and Android application development, search engine optimization (SEO), Facebook applications, email marketing, text marketing and social media strategy consultation to small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as large corporations across the globe.
