New Female General Manager in the Maldives

The Beach House Collection is delighted to announce that Ms. Andrea Wrba has been appointed as General Manager at The Beach House at Iruveli Maldives. Ms. Wrba becomes one of the only female general managers in the Maldives.

In joining The Beach House at Iruveli Maldives, Ms. Wrba says, “I am thrilled to be part of a world-class luxury resort and am proud that The Beach House at Iruveli Maldives will be the flagship of The Beach House Collection.”

Prior to joining The Beach House at Iruveli Maldives, Ms. Wrba was the General Manager of the InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon Mountain Resort & Spa. She has a wealth of experience, with over 28 years spent in the luxury hotel industry, mainly working for the InterContinental Hotels Group across Europe and the Middle East. Ms. Wrba has also held a General Manager position with Sheraton Hotels & Resorts.

Ms. Wrba is Austrian and she is fluent in German, Dutch and English and can also converse in French. She has also excelled with many leadership programs.

The Beach House at Iruveli Maldives is an idyllic private island retreat fringed by powder white beaches, coral reef lagoons and a jungle-filled interior.  Located on Haa Alifu, the northernmost atoll of the Maldives, it is reached via a 69-minute luxury seaplane transfer from Malé.
