ABOUT DAVIDEMEDRI
DAVIDEMEDRI srl was established in 2004 as an arts lab specialised in the design and the artisanal creation of art works and modern design elements in silver and gold leaf glass mosaics and colored glass mosaics.
The creative mentor is the Italian artist in mosaics Davide Medri, who achieved his artistic background through the Ravenna Academy of Fine Arts with specialisation in mosaics at the Institute of Mosaic Art and the Albertainer Vocational Mosaic School in Ravenna Italy. In 1997, after different professional experiences and the encounter with Dilmos Gallery in Milan Italy, the creative ability of Davide Medri originated the "Mosaic Mirrors" Collection.
Since 10 years from the date of first creation, the glass mosaic mirrors are still the elements of design furnishings that highly characterise DAVIDEMEDRI creations. These are the art works that have determined the success both in terms of market success, press appraisal and recognition by architects and interior designers in Italy and abroad.
Today’s portfolio also includes, besides glass mosaic mirrors, tables, side tables, floor lamps, wall lamps, art works and design furniture made in iron, stainless steel and in glass mosaics. Craftsmanship is totally artisanal where each single glass piece is cut and fixed by hand assuring high quality and that every art work and design element is unique.
DAVIDEMEDRI art&design works are available in Italy throughout specialized modern design furniture dealers and art galleries that operate in the premium-luxury market segment. Major export markets are: France, United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait. Diverse project development and design collaborations are held with architects, designers, decorators for both private homes and the contract sector at national and international level.
Even if never engaged in advertising and in direct promotional campaigns, DAVIDEMEDRI art&design works have spontaneously appeared through the years in many international sector magazines and on specialised press, among which: AD, Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Flair Living.
